The ESSENTIAL shorts are classic & basic bottoms, yet a must-piece to have in your wardrobe.

With side pockets to make life easier and a slight curve at the sides of the hems to give these shorts a more flattering shape.

It has a loose fit and elastic at the waistband to get that comfortable and distressed fit.

The PDF includes sewing instructions with illustrations of the step-by-step and you can also find a sew-along video here.

Is recommended to size up if your size is in between sizes.

These shorts are to be made with woven and knit fabrics that are thick enough to avoid a see-through garment, if wanted.
Example: Cotton gauze, linen, cotton waffle, silk, french terry.

In general this pattern can be used with any fabric, depending on the look and design in mind.

I have tested the pattern, with slightly variations, in cotton waffle and cotton gauze and they have worked perfectly, and I used a light satin for the sewalong video.

Always wash your fabric before any project to avoid size alterations.
